Whats up Blog,
This week was soooo productive for our project. We finally started FILMING!!! I wanted to take this blog post to discuss Margo's costume design throughout our film. As seen in other high-grossing teen dramas like Sex Education, Hunger Games, and The Breakfast Club there is always the main character who is dressed in all black to portray the teenage angst perspective that some teens like to live.
These characters all depict a rebellious lifestyle that some teenagers wish they lived, intriguing our teenage audience further when Margo wears all black to show that she follows the angsty teen stereotype. These type of characters allow furthering the plot line by often breaking rules and creating solutions to obstacles.
Margo is one of those characters she cannot handle the perfect image that her parents want her to be therefore she leaves with her boyfriend, Liam. He will be providing the comic relief in our film.
